Bill will go over fly rods,  sighter’s vs indicators,  weighted flies vs split shot,  dropper system  configurations,  knots, fly selection  and  more. Explain the different leader formulas and  you  will build the leader  you will fish with.

 

On the  stream we  will learn  proper casting  presentation tactics, learn the advantage of Euro over regular floating line, how to fish  different  positions on the stream,  strike detection,  how to fish  different water  types  and more.

 

All equipment is supplied, except Waders, including the leader & sighter material to make your leader, along with the Euro flies. 

 

Don’t forget your Michigan fishing licence!!

 

Recommended Equipment, if bringing your own:  9 ½’ to 10 ½', 2 to 4 wt  rod, Euro  Nymphing line, Waders,  fishing license and  fishing gear.
